Reading a group answer
The group view publishes six figures for each member organisation: the dependency-chain index (CPLCPLCritical path length. The total coordination weight of the longest chain of dependencies in the model. NovusLens reports it as index points, not elapsed time.), the counts of facts at the told, shown and measured rungsRungOne of three levels of support for a recorded value: told, shown or measured. The level appears beside the value., the open findingsFindingA difference in the records that needs a decision. It includes its sources and can describe a slow handoff, disputed fact or missing owner. and the business domainsDomainA business area defined by the work it does, such as purchasing or customs. It may involve several teams, and one team may serve several areas.. It also carries the signed cross-region couplingsCouplingA link where one team or service depends on another. Its Loose, Buffered or Rigid class describes the time needed for a handoff.. Nothing else.
A group answer is built from those figures. The model reads your question and names one figure and a direction. The product then writes the answer itself: the ranking or list, each member’s basis (a CPL is measured or asserted), ties, members with no value, how many members publish the figure, and the group’s own caveat about unmeasured cross-region couplings. Nothing in the answer is a sentence the model wrote.
The first line says how the question was read. Interpreted as: dependency-chain index (CPL), ranked lowest. You do not have to name a figure: a question in ordinary words — which member knows least about its own map? — is mapped to the closest one, and the first line shows which. If that is not what you asked, ask again, or pick the figure and direction from the selector beside the question. The answer then says it was chosen by the reader.
Some questions cannot be answered here. How fast a member recovers or adapts, how healthy, strong or exposed it is, its recoverability, agility or complexity — the group does not publish these. The answer says so, lists what the group does publish, and points you to the member organisations’ own evidence. CPL is a coupling measure and is never used in place of them.
What this guarantees, and what it does not. No model-written comparison of members can reach you through this surface. It does not guarantee that a question in plain words was read as you meant it. Read the first line before the ranking.
