The Summary tab

A team selected: the rail's Summary tab.
Meridian Grid is a fictional demonstration organisation.

What you are seeing. For a team: who answers for it, what it may decide, the duty it carries, and its complexity, agility and recoverability. For the whole organisation: the dependency-chain index and how many items wait for a decision.

Example. Grid Operations shows an accountable ownerAccountable ownerThe person recorded as answerable for a team, service or agent. NovusLens does not assume that this person is also the one who runs it day to day., “Head of Grid Ops”, and an authority, “auto-shed non-critical load”. Its recoverability reads “No current score”, with the line “No current evidenceCurrent evidenceA view that uses only measurements recent enough to count. The “What we were told” view uses recorded statements instead. covers this measure.”

How to read it.

  • A value with a source tag came from that source: told, shown by a document, or measured.
  • A blank always says why it is blank. “Not recorded” means no source says it. It does not mean the answer is no.
  • “What we were told” and “Current evidence” at the top switch every value between the two.

Limits. The summary repeats what the records hold. It does not check that the named owner acts as owner. The index measures the structure of dependencies, not elapsed time or cost.

What you can do next. Open FindingsFindingA difference in the records that needs a decision. It includes its sources and can describe a slow handoff, disputed fact or missing owner. to see what needs a decision here. Open Evidence to see the records behind a value. Ask about this team to put a question to the records.
