Docker from source
Use this path to build images from the source you have selected.
Complete the shared prerequisites first.
You need a full source checkout or portable source bundle, including the vendored files.
A directory holding only lens cannot build images.
From the source directory, run:
./lens setup --init localSetup builds frozen images tagged local, saves the configuration and starts deployment.
Later source edits require a rebuild and deployment.
For a custom build tag, use ./lens setup --init local:<tag>.
The tag must be a valid Docker tag other than dev or local.
Wait for the printed sign-in address, then sign in with the operator account.
If a build fails, correct its printed error and run ./lens resume.
Use separate private directories when keeping several configurations.
