Development

Use this path when editing NovusLens application source. Complete the shared prerequisites first. You need the full source checkout, including its vendored dependencies.

From the checkout, run:

./lens setup --init dev

Setup builds development images and mounts the checkout into application services. Wait for the printed sign-in address, then sign in with the operator account. If deployment stops, correct the printed error and run ./lens resume.

An installation keeps its mode. Use another --directory when you also need a frozen or published installation. Give each running installation a distinct Compose project name, network range and host port. Do not reuse another installation’s data volumes.

Developer acceptance checks use ./lens ops --version dev <command>. Read the gates before choosing a check. These commands test working source. They do not prove what a published image contains.
