Records as of: the picture’s age

The background projectionProjectionThe regular pass that brings the read model up to date with the canonical log. It runs every 30 seconds by default. loop runs every thirty seconds by default. The map’s records as of age describes its latest recorded pass. A confirmed browser import updates the map before returning. Those records can be newer than the last background pass.

  • projection not keeping up: the loop has fallen behind; what you see is older than it should be. The operator can check readiness on the installation.
  • records refresh only when someone saves: the loop is not running on this installation; the picture changes only when someone saves.
  • analysis incomplete on the last pass: the records were projected but an analysis stage failed, and its name is shown. What you see may be older than the records. For Docker, the reasoning service’s /ready response lists the stage and reason. ./lens status reports setup progress and containersContainerA running program with its own packaged software and isolated environment, managed by Docker on the host.. Installation diagnostics gives the query command.

Read each source’s observation date when assessing its freshness. The background pass time does not establish when that source was collected. A notification’s latency is measured separately.
